Welcome to Tenth Green Court
A home reimagined for a new season of life.
This redesign began with a simple but deeply personal desire: to create a space that felt calm, restorative, and gently new. After the loss of her husband, the homeowner longed for a home that could hold both quiet reflection and fresh beginnings — a place that welcomed the morning with intention and offered peace at day’s end.
Each room was thoughtfully curated to tell that story.
Where the Story Began
The Entry Room
Designed as a soft landing space, the entry room invites stillness at the start and close of each day. This area was envisioned for morning coffee and quiet meditation — a place to welcome the day gently and release it with ease. Light, texture, and simplicity work together to create a sense of calm, offering a daily pause before moving into the rest of the home.
The Foyer
The foyer serves as a graceful transition into the heart of the home. Thoughtfully selected bench upholstery and accent pieces introduce the spa-like blue tones of the living space, establishing a dominant color palette that guides the eye forward.
This moment was designed to feel both inviting and regal — offering a sense of arrival while quietly preparing guests for the elegance and calm of the living room beyond.
The Living Space
The living room embraces a French country aesthetic with a distinctly serene, “zen” presence. Soft light blue tones set a calming foundation, while romantic florals introduce a feminine, restorative warmth. Elegant furniture curves bring softness and flow, and touches of the homeowner’s beloved blue-and-white patterns are woven throughout — personal, familiar, and grounding.
Every detail was chosen to feel fresh yet timeless, creating a space that feels both beautiful and deeply comforting.
The Dining Room
The dining room was designed to feel welcoming and refined, harmonizing seamlessly with the calm atmosphere of the adjacent living space. A wallpapered accent wall became the anchor of the room, setting the tone for every surrounding detail.
The traditional green-and-cream floral print captures the warmth of morning light, subtly echoing the sunrise glow of the nearby reading space. This visual continuity allows each room to flow effortlessly into the next, creating a cohesive and intentional experience throughout the home.
The Breakfast Area
Rooted in romantic French country tradition, the breakfast area was designed as a place of connection and belonging. Reclaimed elements and carefully layered accents bring warmth, texture, and timeless charm to the space.
Special attention was given to color, pattern, and scale, creating a kitchen setting that feels both curated and lived-in. The goal was simple and heartfelt: a welcoming table where friends and family feel invited to linger — to sit awhile, share a meal, and feel at home.
